Following their superlative performances, two of the Super Eagles players has been named in the CAF best XI for the match day 5 of the World cup qualifiers.

The duo of Shehu Abdulahi and Victor Moses was named in the team that was released on Tuesday morning.

Chelsea winger Victor Moses actually started the move that resulted in the lone goal in the game.

The former Wigan player dropped the ball for former Kano pillars player Abdullahi who eventually assisted Alex Iwobi in netting the winner.

South African Peru Tau who revived the hope of Bafana Bafana in their clash over Burkina Faso and Mohammed Salah who single-handedly took Egypt to their first World cup since 1990 also made the team.

Others include, Senegal’s Khadim N’diaye
and Kalilou Koulibaly, Morocco’s trio Khalid Boutaib, Mbark Boussoufa and Achraf Hakimi, Egypt’s Ahmed Hegazy, and Youssef Msakni of Tunisia.
