Having openly denied Nigeria despite meeting Nigeria football federation president Amaju Pinnick, English-born, Nigeria descent Tammy Abraham is still in a state of confusion on which country to represent.

Abraham’s confusion was on Monday heightened with Nigeria’s qualification to the World Cup and also accolade Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi received worldwide for netting the goal that eventually qualified the country for world cup.

Nigeria Super Eagles on Saturday secured her 6th World cup appearance after they defeated Chipolopolo of Zambia with a lone goal courtesy of a 72nd minute goal from Alex Iwobi.

Speaking to the Mirror, “There are a lot of things going on. For me that is a sign you are doing something right if Nigeria are fighting for you and England want you as well.”

“I’m happy right now and just want to keep playing my football. Nothing has happened. I’m not too sure what is going on” he stated.

Abraham is presently with England U 21 preparing to take on Andora in the ongoing Euro U21 qualifier.

Nigeria qualification will offer Abraham a fast track to football’s greatest event.
